Waking the Dead carries the Steadicam® every day of the 36 week shoot and we often decide on its use at short notice. That obviously has lighting implications and if you are tracking close with an artist and are on wider lens it becomes difficult to consistently guarantee the exposure on the face and to ‘light the eyes’ – this is where kisslite comes into it’s own. It is also one of the most flattering of light sources especially when added into a conventional lighting setup – it offers greater subtlety and choice.

This is the future of in car lighting. To be so powerful and so compact makes them infinitely useful. We used them inside a car in a crash scene and with only one chance, I wanted to be totally confident it wouldn’t injure the talent, fail or break the lamp on impact. We were only going to have one chance. Needless to say they delivered.
Micky Reeves, Gaffer – kicklite A beautifully conceived , well designed and extremely flexible piece of equipment.
